Protected from the rape!

The girl of two children (30) has been found guilty of rape attempt at Noakhali's Kabirhat upazila. The woman says she saved herself by attacking the person who tried to rape her. The accused, who was injured in the body, was admitted to the hospital. Police arrested him after the case was filed.

The incident occurred on Thursday night at the rice shalik union of Kabirhat upazila.

On January 18, a housewife (27) was gang raped in the house of Nabagram in Dhanasiri union of the same upazila. Three weeks after the incident, rape attempt of housewives in the nearby rice shalik union happened.

Kabirhat Police Station officer-in-charge (Mirpur) Mirza Mohammad Husan said that the victim was not being harassed for some time with her husband. Manik, a resident of the same area, said he wanted to mix together. For this, she promised to bring that woman a talisman. The housewife agreed to this.

Eprothom Alo OC Mirza Husan said the man's friend Manik, the husband of the woman. Yesterday at 8 o'clock, he (Manik) went to housewife's house with ambitious. When he entered the house, he tried to rape a housewife. At that time, the housewife kept Manik in the house and protected herself. Manik ran away while in a critical condition. The incident happened after the housewife and her children screamed when the surrounding people came.

Local sources said that Manik was admitted to a hospital in Basurhat of Companyaganj. Later, the people of the housewife went to the police station and filed a written complaint against Manik.

Kabirhat Police Station said that Manik was arrested on Friday morning. Rape attempt case against him has been taken. Housewife who is the plaintiff in the case. Manik will be brought to court today.
